Our half day charter provides an inshore fishing experience. We aim to catch live bait and fish the bottom for snapper, giant trevally, and amberjack. We also use cut bait and artificial jigs to catch an amazing variety of fish.

The average duration of our full-day charter is 8 hours. These trips depart at 5:00am in the summer and 6:00am in the winter. The Goal is try to catch live bait on the way out at first light when the bait bite is best. We then troll lures looking for the prime fishing grounds where we have seen the best bite the past few days. Our preferred destinations are FADs (Fish Aggregation Devices) located 15-25 miles offshore. The most abundant fish around FADs are Mahi Mahi, Ahi, Marlin and Wahoo.
2 or 3 Hour Inshore fishing & Whale watch
Duration: 2-3 hours, Departure time: between 10:30am.-11:30am.

Our short trip provides an experience for guests to get on the water while also doing some fishing and whale watching. We recommend this trip for families with younger children ages 8+ or beginners. We stay near the coast to enjoy a view of the islands while targeting local bottom fish. During the winter months (December-March) there is strong chance at enjoying the view of migratory Humpback Whales. You can also book us for a whale watching trip.

We are licensed for 6 pax charters. We recommend 4 to 5 for max comfort
Fish Policy
At the end of every charter, the crew will cut a portion or all of the day's catch for the guests. Generally, we'll give you a reasonable amount of fish for your stay on Maui. If you insist on shipping fish home you will have to take care of this yourself. After 20 pounds of whole fish has been cut, there will be a $5.00 per pound processing charge (Weight is calculated by whole fish not filleted)
Making a Reservation
A $500 deposit is required upon your reservation. Automatic Sport Fishing accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Your card won't be charged the remaining balance until the day of your charter. At that time you may pay with a different credit card, or with cash. Cash payments are entitled to a 5% discount rounded to the nearest $5.00 increment. If you are a repeat guest that has fished with us in the past or you send us business, we are grateful for your loyalty and will honor a 10% discount if you book direct.
Cancellations
You can cancel or change your reservation up to 72 hours before we keep your deposit.
